We always brought our best to the table!

Founded by Tony and Mary Cericola almost 60 years ago, we worked closely with our customers to develop a comprehensive product selection that included wholesome products.

We were always excited to bring new lines of products to the table, meeting exact customer requirements while upholding our uncompromising standards of quality from our farms and federally inspected facilities.

All chicken was raised and processed in accordance with Chicken Farmers of Canadas on-farm food safety and assurance program and Animal Welfare program.

Our Historical Legacy

Cericola Farms, founded in 1959 by Tony and Mary Cericola, left an indelible mark on the Canadian poultry industry. Here are some key milestones from our history:

  • 1959: Tony and Mary Cericola establish Cericola Farms in East Gwillimbury, Ontario.
  • 1990s: Pioneered Organic chicken processing with national retailers.
  • Early 2000s: Introduced Antibiotic Free (AABF) chicken, setting industry standards.
  • 2018-2021: Operations sold to Maple Leaf Foods, marking the end of an era.
